Frequently Asked Questions

Learn more about life at Rise at State College. We’ve answered some of the questions we get asked the most.

› How do I apply for an apartment?

Our online application is easy and only takes 15 minutes to complete. Start by creating your account. From there, fill in the information requested and take a quick survey just in case we need to match you with a roommate. Once you input your guarantor information and other financial details, you’ll be on your way to signing your own personalized, individual lease agreement. For any questions along the way, contact our leasing office and one of our friendly team members will be happy to assist you.

› What is an individual lease?

An individual lease means independence. When you lease an apartment at Rise at State College, you’ll sign your own lease agreement. That means that you will be responsible for your portion of the rent, and nobody else’s. The rent you pay pertains to your bedroom and your share of the total cost of the unit. No more worrying about anybody’s finances but your own!

› Will I need a cosigner for my lease?

At Rise at State College, we don’t require cosigners for our leases. Instead, we require guarantors. Learn about guarantors below.

› What is a guarantor?

Guarantors are a third party outside of a tenant and a landlord that ensure the timely, full payment of rent. Usually, these are financially stable individuals close to Rise at State College residents.

› Do apartments come furnished?

When it comes to Rise at State College, “furnished apartment” seems like an understatement. Each unit will include swanky, custom furniture designed just for our community. Your open concept common area is equipped with a contemporary seating, coffee table, and media stand with 50-inch flat screen TV. Each bedroom has a bed with memory foam mattress, desk and desk chair. We even furnish the unit with barstools that provide kitchen island seating.

› What floor-plans are available?

Rise at State College offers a variety of floor plans whether you’re looking for a solo space or room for you and your crew. Check out the floor plans we offer by clicking here.
